I am Courteney marshall
Hi, I’m Courteney. I’m a mum, a people-lover, and someone who finds joy in the small, ordinary moments. I’m easygoing, a little silly when it helps, and naturally drawn to making others feel comfortable and cared for. I value slowing down, genuine connection, and creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves.

Proof that love lived here.

More about me
My philosophy
I picked up a camera because I wanted moments to last forever.
Photography, to me, is proof that a life was lived, that love existed here, that this version of you mattered. What keeps me going is the quiet need to help people hold onto moments before they slip away. When everything changes, photographs remain. They become something to return to.
I’m drawn to images where love is evident , set against open landscapes, soft light, and honest connection. I care less about how things look and more about how they feel. The way lovers glance at each other without realising. How a child instinctively reaches for their mother. The in-between moments that say more than anything posed ever could.
My sessions are gently guided, never stiff. I use prompts to ease you in, especially if you’re shy or unsure because once the awkwardness fades, that’s where the real magic lives. I slow everything down. If you need a moment, we take it. There’s no rush here. And in that space, I watch shoulders soften, laughter sneak in, and connection take over.
I want my clients to feel valued, cared for, and deeply respected not just photographed. The greatest compliment I receive is when someone sees their images as art, when they trust me fully, when they tell me they cried because the photos felt like them.
I don’t believe in forcing moments or overly posed perfection. I refuse what feels inauthentic because the beauty is already there. My work is about preserving time and documenting life as it truly is, in all its quiet, fleeting significance.
Years from now, I want you to look back at your photos with gratitude, grateful you paused long enough to remember. Because every moment is worth holding onto.
I photograph people because it’s my purpose.
